Venturebeat recently interviewed Zynga's Chief Operating Officer Clive Downie who commented on the discussions with Big Viking Games. The COO mentioned a dialogue about a " partnership" that would allow the game to be managed by BVG.
Downie described these negotiations as exciting and hoped to conclude them very soon and " move on":
" In the case of YoVille, there was a dialogue with the game’s creators about a partnership that would see the game continue to be grown and sustained by them, so that’s exciting. We’re in those discussions and we hope we can conclude them sometime soon and move on."
Does this mean that Zynga will still own YoVille and BVG will only manage it? What are your thoughts on this deal? Let us know in comments.
