  Many players are wondering about the fate of their items, houses, cash and coins. Big Viking Games assured players that they get to keep everything they own. Your cash, coins, items, inventories... will be transferred from YoVille to YoWorld. In other words, you will not have to start over.

Goodbye YoVille, Hello YoWorld!

 From a Ville to a world, YoVille has gone global. "Ville"  that means town or city was recently changed to "World" for two main reasons.

 According to Big Viking Games; " It was a necessary step in being able to obtain the game, but it also speaks to our goal of making the game bigger and better than ever before!"

 A necessary step because the word "Ville" in game names is a trademark for Zynga and other gaming companies cannot use this term in their game names.

 This doesn't have to be a bad thing. As BVG explained, the change indicates its goal of making the game bigger by transforming it from a town to a world.
