The YoVille Sweets Factory

Welcome to our History of YoVille series in which we will talk about the old YoVille days! Old YoVille players can remember the old YoVille days and new players can get to know what this game was like years ago. Let’s go back in time!

Zynga introduced the Sweets Factory in September 2, 2oo9. This feature allowed players to bake in up to 16 ovens in order to earn coins instead of the YoVille widget factory work. Players did not like this feature, and they did what they do best: Protest!

Following the classical Zynga games way, players had to prepare oven, select a recipe, wait for recipe to become ready, " harvest" recipe and then clean oven. Many considered this feature very time consuming and not worth the effort.
The Lounge was flooded with angry comments and players organized protests outside the factory ( with purple Mohawks and barrel costumes).  Oh yes ,when you are a YoVillian, you protest with style.

Zynga did not respond, instead, Ninjas put on encouraging posts that showed people how to earn more coins using this feature. People only got more upset.

In December 2009, Zynga removed the Sweets Factory and brought back the old one.
