It’s time to get your creativity together for another one of YoVille’s exciting Clothing Design Contests. We’ve had so many great winners from the last few ones and we’re sure you are all inspired to start off. Please make sure to enter so we can see some awesome designs from new and old designers. It’s always great to have our players create and put content out into the game. We love supporting your efforts! What’s more is you also get to win yourself some YoCash for all the hard work. Sound good to you? Well all you need to do is enter.
Make sure to take ideas from the wonderful sights and sounds of London and the UK. Let their Celebrities, High Fashion, Scenic Views and beautiful Monuments inspire you with some outstanding ideas.
RULES AND GUIDELINES:
Step 1:
We want to see what your costumes will look like on a Yoville avatar so the first thing you will need to do is find an avatar to create the outfit for, this can be your own avatar or another avatar found on Yoville.com or in game. Then take a screenshot of that avatar. To take a Screenshot on a PC (Hold down CTRL, ALT, PRTSC) and on a MAC (Hold Down Command and SHIFT 3)
Step 2:
Then go to Paint or PhotoShop or any type of image editing program you have installed on your computer and Paste your Screen shot. From here please use the tools provided to edit your image and design your outfit. You may have to crop to remove any unnecessary parts of your screen shot so you only have the avatar to work with. Also rememeber to include all the parts of your design(accessories, makeup, handhelds) on your display avatar. Don’t be afraid to use color or get creative! Make sure to save along the way!!
Step 3:
Next you are going to have to upload your image to an Image hosting site like Tinypic or Photobucket. If you do not already have an account you will need to create one. Once that you have uploaded your picture to your account your image will be given links and codes for the image. Make sure to Copy the IMG Code provided for your image.
Step 4:
Paste your IMG code into this thread by clicking HERE . Please note that this thread is ONLY for submissions. Any discussions about the contest belongs HERE. Keeping these two threads separate will help us be able to sort through entries when choosing the top entries.
RULES & GUIDELINES
- UK entries will be accepted from 14 June, 2012 @ 3 A.M. (PST) to 16 June, 2012 @ 11:59 PM (PST)
That gives you 3 days to submit your designs. After all of the entries are gathered our team will announce our top choices and will let the players vote for their favorites!
- All entries/ images files MUST be less than 150 KB only.
- Players may ONLY submit up to one Female Outfit and/or one Male Outfit. Entering more than one of each will result in disqualification.
- You will need to submit your entries on an official YoVille Avatar. Only YoVille Avatars will be accepted. Clothing and other Entries placed on other Avatars will be disqualified
- Please do not use any other trademark or copyright designs in your entries. We will not be accepting any entries that include such designs.
-The use of vector/stock type images are not allowed. The designs must be created totally by you. Using such images will result in immediate disqualification.
- Only ONE entry post per player. Please do not post more than once. Otherwise you will be disqualified! Spamming your entry will not be allowed.
- NO Copying of other player’s entries or original artwork. This will not be tolerated. All designs must be created by you! If we find that your work is not original we retain the right to disqualify you at any stage during the contest!
- Please note: designs that have the artists names in the image itself will NOT be accepted. Please do not put your name in your artwork.
- Please design only one handheld item for each entry only
- No insulting or making negative comments about other contest entries, this will not be allowed and may result in the disqualification of your entry.

- To discuss this Costume Design Contest post HERE. All discussions about the Contest must be in the spirit of good sportsmanship. Any issues created by you in this thread will result in the closing of the thread by a Ninja at their discretion.
